Glen and Kaye Bernard are long-time Niman Ranch farmers who have been marketing their hogs to Niman Ranch since the fall of 2000. On their farm in Southeastern Minnesota, they raise nearly 300 head of market hogs each year.

In the late 70’s, Glen began working part-time for a local farmer. That was wehn he realized how much he enjoyed raising hogs. In 1984, Glen and Kaye purchased the farm they currently live on, and began their own hog operation. On 25 acres of certified organic ground, the hogs thrive on pasture and in woodland where they farrow from spring though fall.

Glen can be proud of the fact that he has ranked as one of the top ten quality pork producers for the last seven years. With nearly 500 Niman Ranch farmers in the program, this is a high honor!
