Hog farming in the Niman Ranch program requires labor intensive traditional practices that have been passed down over generations. Our expectations are high and the protocols are strict. We pay our farmers a premium recognizing that raising livestock the Niman Ranch way is not easy. We provide support, resources and farmer mentorship, but know that the Niman Ranch system may not be for everyone.
