Become a Niman Ranch Farmer

When you join the Niman Ranch farmer network, you get a partner who is committed to family farmers, ranchers and their local communities.

We have neglected the truth that a good farmer is a craftsman of the highest order, a kind of artist. – Wendell Berry

Join our network of independent U.S. family farmers and ranchers and you too can be rewarded for your hard work and high values as you care for the animals and the land.

Raising hogs, cattle and lamb in the Niman Ranch program requires labor intensive traditional practices that have been passed down over generations. Our expectations are high and the protocols are strict. We pay our farmers and ranchers a premium recognizing that raising livestock the Niman Ranch way is not the easy way. We provide support, resources and farmer mentorship, however, understand that the Niman Ranch system may not be for everyone.

If you live in one of the states listed below and are interested in becoming a Niman Ranch farmer or ranchers, please fill out the form next to the respective type of livestock to tell us a bit more about yourself and your livestock experience. We will follow up in a timely manner. Thank you for your interest!
