Roasted Red Pepper Sausage Dip

- 2 cups cooked, drained & crumbled Niman Ranch Sweet Italian Ground Pork Sausage
- 1 cup chopped roasted red bell peppers (from a jar)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Topping:
- ½ cup Marinara sauce (from a jar)
- ¼ cup roasted red bell peppers, chopped (from a jar)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- In a large bowl, heat cubes of cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds
- Add the remaining ingredients and stir really well to combine
- Pour into a shallow baking dish, approximately 1-quart
- Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until hot in the center
- Remove dip from oven, turn on the broiler, spread marinara over the top, sprinkle with the chopped roasted red bell peppers and Parmesan
- Place under broiler and broil for about 3 minutes or until top is bubbly and golden
- Serve hot with crackers or crusty baguettes (6-8) as an appetizer
