Ham Monte Cristo Sliders

1 pound Niman Ranch ham, sliced into 12 slider-size pieces
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
6 slider-size buns, halved
¼ cup Dijon mustard
¼ cup mayonnaise
6 ounces Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add salt and black pepper and whisk until combined. Set aside.
- Assemble the sliders: Place 12 slider bun halves on a rimmed baking sheet. Spread mustard on 6 bottoms and mayonnaise on 6 tops. Stack 2 slices of ham on each bottom bun, followed by 1 slice of cheese. Place bun tops on each slider.
- Once assembled, dip each slider into the egg mixture, coating evenly. Allow excess egg coating to drip off before returning sliders to baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately with side salad or chips.
