Ham Monte Cristo Sliders

Ingredients

1 pound Niman Ranch ham, sliced into 12 slider-size pieces 

4 eggs, lightly beaten 

1 teaspoon sea salt 

1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper 

6 slider-size buns, halved 

¼ cup Dijon mustard 

¼ cup mayonnaise 

6 ounces Swiss cheese, thinly sliced 

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add salt and black pepper and whisk until combined. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the sliders: Place 12 slider bun halves on a rimmed baking sheet. Spread mustard on 6 bottoms and mayonnaise on 6 tops. Stack 2 slices of ham on each bottom bun, followed by 1 slice of cheese. Place bun tops on each slider.
  4. Once assembled, dip each slider into the egg mixture, coating evenly. Allow excess egg coating to drip off before returning sliders to baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve immediately with side salad or chips.
